Reflections for Sergeant Wilbur Lewis Berry
Deputy Sheriff Berry left this world doing what he loved best.To Protect and serve are really big and imporant words. There will probably be a hundred more Deputys and Police Officers who will die before this Year ends. It could be me or you.Every one please say a prayer for his Family and friends. Kenny .

Though I did not personally know Sgt. Berry, I feel the sarrow that many of you are feeling. I lost a friend almost 9 months ago in the line of duty as well. To the family, friends and co-workers may GOD give you strength. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for a friend. John 15:13. I don't think that I really thought much about that scripture until I lost a friend in the line of duty. I look at everything differently now, I take nothing for granted. I think more, I love more, I'm thankful more. Cherish the memories you have of Sgt. Berry, no one can take that away from you. Sgt. Berry will live forever in your hearts, thoughts and prayers. I hope and pray a speedy recovery for the partner of Sgt. Berry and to the other partner, thank you for being there. GOD SPEED SGT. BERRY ! All my prayers to the family, friends and co-workers.

My prayers go out to the Officers family and the Officers of the Bulloch County Sheriffs Department. My family is from Statesboro and both my Father and myself have had careers with APD. It is truly a loss for all in Law Enforcement when things like this happen.
