To the Padayao family: AN ANGEL CALLED DANNY'S NAME AND TOOK HIM BY THE HAND. HE MAY BE GONE, BUT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. LOVE NEVER DIES

Danny, you made the ultimate sacrifice and died a hero, in the line of duty....What is love? "AND HERE IS HOW TO MEASURE IT- THE GREATEST LOVE IS SHOWN WHEN PEOPLE LAY DOWN THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR FRIENDS." John 15:13 NLT...Love is willing to sacrifice for the good of others, even to death.

"No love, no friendship, can cross the path of our destiny without leaving some mark on it forever." - Francois Mocuriac

Danny, I was your nurse. When EMS called in your description but no name, my fiance, also an officer, was on duty at the time with the same description, and not knowing if he was going to be my patient was the longest wait. But you, it was like working on my own fiance, my own EMS brother, one of our own.....Everyone in EMS was devastated, and you will live in our memories forever. I keep you in my prayers and hope that you and all our fallen heroes are together in peace and God's love on the other side. God Bless You, Brother...

Danny was my beat partner and friend. When I needed help, he would always be there to lend a hand. He will always be remembered & missed. Aloha Danny....

My deepest regrets go to Danny's family and friends and to HPD. I had the pleasure of attending the police academy with Danny. He always had an upbeat attitude and a smile on his face. A greater officer could not have been lost.
Danny, you will be remembered.

When you drink and drive this kind of tragedy can occur. A Policeman is dead for no good reason. Now His fellow Officers Friends And Family Will greatly suffer his loss. Hopefully the person who Committed this Crime gets a lenghty Prison sentence and will deeply regret what he done. Dannys Spirit has been taken to a much better place and He'll be among thousands of good officers just like himself. I've experenced this terrible feeling when my Son was killed on duty. Everyone please Pray for Dannys Family and friends. Kenny Hetrick-- Deputy Sheriff
