She was amazing and funny. I bought her BMW a week before the tragedy and on the day of the tragedy, she gave my son a dollar for his field trip. Never forgotten!

She will be sorely missed. I worked with and was in the academy behind her class. She was a long distance runner that never broke a sweat!!!!!!

Girl do I miss you with your hilarious self. This girl always kept something jovial going on. Kept us laughing. I was glad when she came around or stopped in my office for the day before leaving the building, making my day. I remember the day of (End of Watch day) she came into my office clowning as usual, and then she left. She came back looking all over my desk like she had lost something. I asked her what was she looking for and she stated, "I dropped something". I asked her what did she drop maybe I could help her find it. She then picked up something and behold it was her drug evidence. I told her now what if my boss had found that on my desk, and how was I going to explain it. We laughed up something that day. But, I am so happy I got to share laughter with her that day and every day I that I did come in contact with her. She made my day!! Miss You!

I never had the pleasure of meeting you but I wear your name on my wrist while I am on duty. I feel that it is God and you (in fact all the fallen offficers) that protects me. Often I am asked about the person whose name I wear so proudly, I then tell them your story.
No greater love is shown then one who gives their life to safe anotherr.
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.

We here at APD miss you Sherry, I recall the times we all would line up and get ready for Warrant Raids, and you would often joke about how my K-9 Partner Bandit was crazy like his handler. I know Bandit is up in heaven with you now, and I know he's watching over you, and youre caring for him. I miss you Sherry, youre in my thoughts and prayers. Love Derrick
