Reflections for Constable John J. Connell

Please note that I have written a chapter on Constable John Connell in my upcoming book "Texas Ranger Big Ed Connell." Ed and John were brothers. The full details of the murder, chase and eventual arrest is covered in the chapter. The book will be published in 2021 by Wild Horse Media Group, Eakin Press, Fort Worth, TX.

Dear Ms. Loya: Thank you for honoring my great uncle John Connell, Constable Lampasas Co, Texas. He was the eldest of 5 boys, his brother Sam Connell, Sheriff of Georgetown, Tx another brother Edward F Connell was my great-grandad, Texas Ranger 1892-1896 & 3 term sheriff of Deaf Smith Co, Texas. The Connell boys lost their dad when they were 10 - 17 years old and all 5 grew to be fine members of their communities.

Your son's service is appreciated and Larry Lasater will be in my thoughts and prayers as will you. He served his fellow man well and his service to Pittsburg, Ca and to our country represents the best of America.

Thanks so much for your remembrance of John J Connell.

Blessings to you and your family
