Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Brandan Garrett Hinkle

Just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you and your family. This will be your Fifth year in Heaven, I know that your family has missed you everyday. Some days are just harder than others, this being one.
I just thought I needed to stop by and let you know that I'm thinking about you, and to tell you I will never forget the service you gave for your County, State and Country. You are a Hero.
To the family my prayers are with you, and wanted to leave you with this quote:

Perhaps they are not star,
but openings in the Heaven
where the love of our lost ones
pours through and shines upon us
to let us know they are happy.

They are with us forever.

Brother Hinkle,

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Respectfully,
You’re Brothers in Blue

As a motor officer myself, I admire your courage and dedication as well as your desire to train as a motor officer. You gave your life in the line of duty. And, as being the Commander of the Bossier City Police Dept. Honor Guard and the Police Memorial comming up next month, you will be honored here in Louisiana and in my prayers.

I saw the Heaven open up.
The Earth shook with Fear.
For Evil, knew of God's Army.
They were Heroes, men on steel horses.

Thank you Deputy Hinkle. Rest in peace.
