Reflections for Police Officer Daniel Stanley MacClary
Danny and I are brothers is several ways. We were brothers in law enforcement, brothers in the military, and for many years we had people at Robins AFB believing we were brothers with different mothers. Danny's smile and jokes will always be missed. I will remember the good, the bad, times we had together and will never forget my brother.
I miss you Danny.

Its been almost two years since you left. I can still remember the day before, talking about you trying to chase down a suspect with those big boots on. Joking about how you needed to get back into the gym and run with those boots on. I think about you and see your picture everyday. I keep a picture with me in my motorcycle and by my computer at home. I was working traffic enforcement at Jack Anderson Elementary School the other day and stopped at your memorial. They've got it right next to where you use to directed traffic, it's a very good and professional looking memorial. I havent written anything about your death until today. The day of your funeral was a very somber and hard for everyone, especially those closest to you. The citizens lined up on main street showing their support and sympathy. I still can't believe someone with so much happiness and zeal for life was taken from us. You're missed more than I can tell you. I stood beside your casket at the funeral home and couldn't keep the tears back. I still till this day do not understand why you were taken from us. I just wanted to let you know that I'll remember you and your smile always,I miss you Danny. Rest in Peace I-73.

DANNY WAS A GREAT FRIEND TO MANY. HE WAS ALSO A GREAT OFFICER. HE IS MISSED.
GOD BLESS DEBBIE AND THE FAMILY
Danny, It has been one year today since your life
ended....so quickly and in a manner we cannot justify.
It sure has been the hardest year of my life, son.
I miss you more than you can possibly imagine.
Your daughter, Danielle is now a teenager, 13 years old, and still adores you so much. She and her mom, your brother, Bobby and his wife, Billie, as well as your stepfather, George, and I have such wonderful memories of you and your
smile. We all miss you, fella.
I keep waiting for you to come walking in the back door, running over to me and giving me a great big ole bear hug, and flashing that dynamite smile. When the phone rings, I still sometimes expect you to be there.....all excited about your job, about Danielle, or by now it might also include your new baby, Abby.
I just had to write to you today and tell you and the world how very much we miss you and love you.
May God Bless each of us until we meet again.
I love you
