Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Allen Brad Rogers

The pain of you being taken from us is as strong today as it was the very first moment we learned you were gone. Allen, I miss you, I love you, I can't imagine my world, growing up without you in it, it is an HONOR for me to tell the world you are my cousin, my blood and my hero. More people in this world should follow their dreams and stand up for what they believe in, just like you. You are missed everyday that goes by, and those of us that were lucky enough to have you in our lives, can hold our heads high with Pride. You are truly ONE IN A MILLION!!!!

I love and miss you cuz!!!

At the beginning of every shift I supervise, myself and the other officers on shift dedicate the day to the memory of a fallen officer.

Today, July 24, 2005 we dedicated the shift to the memory of Police Officer Allen Brad Rogers who died in the line of duty on this date five years ago.

When one law enforcement officer falls, we all stumble for a while, but we will carry on.

Officer Rogers' sacrifice will never be forgotten.

To the family of Officer Rogers,

I feel blessed to finally be able to express my heartfelt sympathy and prayers to you. I learned of Officer Rogers death the day after my son Officer Justin Cain passed away as the result of an on-duty auto accident. Reading of another death of one so young, broke my heart again. I wanted to reach out to comfort you at that time. What wonderful memories we have of these brave young men we love and charish! We can be so proud of what they accomplished at such a young age.
Please know our family has held you in our prayers daily since these deaths occured, and hopefully you have been sustained by them, to endure the pain and to be at peace with the passing of Officer Rogers.

Sincerely, Cindy Cain

May god bless you and your family as they struggle through these hard times. You were with us for a short time, but that short times left a lasting impression of how good of an officer you going to be.Rest in peace, and see you when I get there.Godspeed

MY SINCERE SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY OF OFFICER ALLEN ROGERS.  IT JUST ISN'T RIGHT FOR A LOVED ONE TO BE TAKEN FROM US IN THIS MANNER.  HOWEVER, ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT HE DIED PROTECTING ALL OF US AND WILL DO THE SAME BUT IN GOD'S HANDS.  HE WILL PROTECT EACH AND EVERYONE OF US FOREVER.  AS AS MOM, WHO LOST A SON IN THE LINE OF DUTY, I CAN FEEL FOR HIS MOTHER.  TIME WILL HEAL, BUT ONE WILL NEVER FORGET.  YOU ARE NOW A PROUD SURVIVOR OF THE SHIELD.

Christine Roth

Rest easy, brother. You are never forgotten. So young and so few years allowed but taken for a greater purpose.

Deputy M. Moore
Warren County S.O. (OH)

Saint Michael, heaven's glorious commissioner of police, who once so neatly and successfully cleared God's premises of all its undesirables, look with kindly and professional eyes on your earthly force.

Give us cool heads, stout hearts, and uncanny flair for investigation and wise judgment.

Make us the terror of burglars, the friend of children and law-abiding citizens, kind to strangers, polite to bores, strict with law-breakers and impervious to temptations.

You know, Saint Michael, from your own experiences with the devil, that the police officer's lot on earth is not always a happy one; but your sense of duty that so pleased God, your hard knocks that so surprised the devil, and your angelic self-control give us inspiration.

And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your heavenly force, where we will be as proud to guard the throne of God as we have been to guard the city of all the people. Amen.

You lived your dream to become a Police Officer. You only got to live your dream for a very short time but you made it! May you rest in peace.

God Bless
