Officer Jones, I'm sure many do not really understand the role of a Park Police Officer and many do not realize that you face the same risks and challenges as any other cop. You paid the ultimate price and are surely missed by many. For your efforts, Thank you.

May you Rest in Peace and may God Bless you on this sad 6th anniversary.

Rest in peace, brother. Your service to this nation and the sacrifice you made will never be forgotten. Through your actions, you proved that you are a true warrior of justice and have earned your everlasting assignment in Heaven.

Continue to watch over all of those you left behind and keep them safe. Let them have the strength to continue in your absence as they did when you were beside them.

Watch over your brothers and sisters in blue and help them to maintain their pride, honor and integrity as they carry the sword, which continues to be passed from one warrior to another.

We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

~~~~~The Broken Chain~~~~~
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.~~In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.~~It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.~~You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.~~Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the Chain will link again.
I stop by this website often after the death of two dear friends with the NCSHP (Troopers Calvin Taylor E.O.W. October 3, 2001 and Anthony Cogdill E.O.W. May 30, 2003).
We all grieve over the lives lost in the line of duty. I hope you can find some comfort knowing that there are countless prayers that go out for your family.
These are senseless tragedies that never seem to stop. God Bless the men and women who continue to serve their communities in our great Nation.
Brother Jones,
Words can express the feelings I have built inside. You are a great soldier and an even better brother.  It was honor to have you as a co-worker and as a brother.  I thank you for your dedication and will always remember you and your smile my friend. God Bless You
William,
I can't begin to describe the pain and emotions that I've been going through since you left us for a better place.  You are truly respected and missed by everyone that had the priveledge of working with you or knowing you.  In my eyes, you are a man to be admired for your illustrious achievements and noble qualities.  It was unambiguous that you loved your family, your God, your country, and your profession.  I will never forget how you were always impeccable with your words of kindness, and how you spoke with integrity.  When I feel down about your passing, I try to remember the smile that you always had upon your face no matter the circumstances.  I know that you are in the passenger seat with me and the others as we try to continue to do the best that we can to serve our community as you did.  My condolences and heartfelt sympathy extends to your family and closest of friends; they all will be in my prayers.   You are gone now, but will never be forgotten my brother.
May God Bless You.
William this past week I faced the greatest challenge of my career. I was given the responsability of helping a family bury their husband and father. That family was proud of their loved ones service to his country as a soldier and a police officer. Their loved one was never heard saying anything bad about another person, always a smile on his face no matter what the problem before him was. William your family is very proud of you and we all will miss you.
You always said " it`s a great day to be a soldier". William It was a much better day to have known you! God Bless
William, The words don't come when I sit to write.  All the words escape me.  Your presence was uplifting as is the memory of your smile.  The only words that I can never tell you now are Good-bye.  I will always hold dear your memory.  We all miss you very much.  Aric
William, I knew you for such a short time. I first met you when you were a Deputy Constable and you backed me up on a traffic stop. Your time with Park Police was a short one and I wish I had taken time to know you better, but, I will always remember your easy smile and cheerful attitude. May God be with your family and your Park Police family as well.
All this time has passed and we still think about you everyday. You were, and are, a good man.
I know you look on us everyday. We look back.
We shall never forget.
With God's everlasting love, Amen
