Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Thomas Orville Monse, Jr.
I never got a chance to know you but this story hit home when I heard about it. I was at your service to pay my respect to a fellow officer. I had never been to an officer's funeral and I was impressed by the show of support your community gave to you and law enforcement in general. I remember your family was courageous and strong through their time of tragedy. Rest in peace brother.

May god bless you and your family. Although I did not have the privilege to have known you, I am sure you earned your seat in heaven.
Rest in peace, those of us who remain will cover your post on the thin, blue line.

Every time a law enforcement officer is killed in the line of duty it takes a little piece of the hearts of their other brothers and sisters in the law enforcement community. The deaths of Deputy Monse, Deputy Stephenson and Trooper Miller open old wounds that never seem to heal completely. To their families please realize that the died as they lived, heroes in the truest sense of the word. They will always be missed by all of us in the law enforcement family.
Just as sure as I know that these brave brothers rest in heaven today, I also know that the coward who committed this unforgiveable act will spend all eternity in the flames of hell paying for his sins.
As these brave officers entered the gates of heaven I know that they were heard our Heavenly Father speak these words, "Welcome home, My good and faithful servants. You've done your duty well. It is time for you to rest in My loving arms."

What can you really say? The man who cut down these officers was and is a true coward. My heart goes out to the families of the heros. Rest my brothers. Your work is done

I am a Patrolman in Neptune Twp New Jersey. I have read about the three
officers slain in Texas. Deputy Monse, Deputy Stephenson, and Trooper
Miller. They are true heroes and they died doing what they loved, protecting
others. God bless them! My sympathy goes out to the families of these men,
may God be with you.
I know in my heart that they would do the same thing all over again! They
should be remembered forever as heros.
God Blees them, and the job they did.
Sincerely,
Ptl Fred Faulhaber Jr.
