Reflections for Trooper Terry Wayne Miller
I really cannot even find the words for this, but:
GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS, ONE WHO WOULD LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS
- As Terry did.
God bless him and continue to wrap his arms around and comfort his family

The news of the death of Trooper Terry Miller, Deputy Thomas Monse and Deputy Mark Stephenson shattered the law enforcement community. It reopened old wounds that, for their brothers and sisters in law enforcement, never quite heal completely.
To their families and co-workers, find solace in this fact. These brave officers died just as they lived every day of their lives, as true heroes. They will never be forgotten.
I know that all three of these brave brothers are now at peace in heaven with God. Jsut as sure as I know this, I also know that the coward who committed this unforgiveable act will spend all eternity in the flames of hell paying for his sins.
As these brave brothers entered the gates of heaven I know they heard our Heavenly Father say, "Welcome home My good and faithful servants. You have done your duty well. It is time to rest in My loving arms."

God blesses the saviors. I wish the family of Trooper Miller the best and would like to say that he is under the wing of the Lord. I would also like to leave this scripture for fellow officers who have fallen and those who risk their lives every day for a cause:
" I HEARD THE VOICE OF THE LORD, SAYING, WHOM SHALL I SEND, AND WHO WILL GO FOR US? THEN SAID I, HERE AM I; SEND ME.

News of this horrible event gave me deep seated chills. We have all been on "911 hang-up" calls. These three officers, Trooper Miller, Deputy Stephenson, and Deputy Monse all had their lives extinguished for no reason....no cause...other than for the twisted pleasure of a cowardly, murderous animal....skulking around in the dark like a slithering worm. These three officers responded to that address to offer someone help...to give aid....and they were rewarded with brutality.... I believe God has a special place in heaven for cops and I know these three heroes are there because they made the ultimate sacrafice...giving there lives attempting to help another.
To their families....know that you husband/father/brother or son died doing the most noble job there is...and making the most noble sacrafice. My prayers and my deepest sympathy go out to all of you.............

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family, friends and co-workers of Trp. Miller. I have thought about this type of ambush happening to an officer for a long time. We are most vulnerable investigating 911 hang-ups. What can you do? I will continue to fight for justice and peace with the memory of these fallen brothers in mind.

My prayers go out to the children, wives and families of these men. Their bravery and service will not be forgotten.

Dear Terry,
As I reflect back on the simple things you taught me, both in life and career, I am proud to call you friend. You now stand watch, with the highest position in the land. I see you smiling down on me as I make decisions in my everyday life and while on patrol. Lead on brother and I will follow in honor.

To my Dear Friend,
Here I am again to pay you and all fallen officers the respect of a few kind words. As the years pass and time starts to heal the wounds of your loss I reflect to the enduring image of a man who said he would not give up on his dream to be a Texas State Trooper. You finally made it to your dream before age restrictions could stop you. Even though we may grieve your loss we celebrate your integrity that you embodied. I know you are still there guarding us all for now you enforce God's law.
Love always Brother,
Sgt. R. Jasin Arrington

Trooper Miller, your watch is over and our department salutes you and your tour. May you watch over the gates of heaven, as you watched over the citizens of Texas.

Dear Terry,
It has been almost 2yr's since you left to be by God's side. You were the servant and the guardian of all that was good and the enemy of evil. In life you were my friend and in death you are my guiding light. I love you and miss you and know someday I will see you again.
Your Fellow Brother,
