It seems like yesterday we were sitting in your crappy little apartment drinking a beer and singing "Indian Outlaw." You and Beth took me in and made me part of your family and I miss you both dearly. The day you left us was one of the worst of my life. Your loss has left the world with a hole which can never be filled. God bless you brother.

Craig,

Craig it's been a long time my friend. Thank you for looking over me when I was a new private at Ft. Lee. I retired last year from the Army with 21 years. I will always remember you laugh and smile.

Well Craig..today is your birthday..Jan 14. I know that many, myself included, wish you were here to celebrate with. I think of you often and have shared over all these years, since May 27, 1999, your story and what a wonderful man you were. I think of Beth and the rest of your amazing family and hope they are all doing well. I feel very blessed to have met your family and spent the time with them that I did that June of 1999. Craig, you are thought of and missed everyday.

Another year gone by without you in this world, Craig. You will always be remembered and missed. It's all still so fresh in my mind. People need to always remember the sacrifices wonderful people like you make for everyday citizens like us. You made a difference while you were on earth and I'll always be grateful that I knew you and Beth while I was still a Records Specialist with Chesterfield. I still remember Beth in my prayers...I know you would want that because you loved her so dearly. Continue to rest in peace my friend.

Uncle Craig,
You always pop into my head sometimes and I can't help but become overwhelmed with grief as I realize I didn't get to spend very much time with you. I still remember the toy police car you gave me, and it brings tears to my eyes not knowing where it is, the only thing I have from you. I was able to find pictures of when Dad and I came down to visit, you kneeling down next to me in the surf on the beach. I don't know why, but I can picture yours and Aunt Beth's house so vividly, strange how certain things stick in your memory…
Your memorial plague hangs proudly in our living room; along with a picture of you holding a beer up with a huge grin on your face (I guess I have yet to learn the story behind that one). I know that everything Dad, Chris and I do with the COPS organization is in your memory, and I am honored to say that you were my uncle. I have a COPS magnetic ribbon on the back of my car along with a blue COPS ribbon tied around my mirror, you are never forgotten. I know you are looking down on me and I can only hope you are proud with everything I have accomplished. I plan on taking a trip down to the wall this summer and to visit your grave; I apologize it has taken me so long.
Please continue to watch over me, our family, Aunt Beth, and the rest of your fellow officers and those who serve our country. I will see you soon, and I love you,
Jennifer

Man I remeber working out at the cacademy gym and we would be joking back in forth about who had a bigger chest. Well, God called you home too soon. My prayers are with your family. May you rest in peace.

I can't believe its been as long as it has. I have many fond memories of you and thank you for being someone I could look up to. You were one of the reasons I got into law enforcement. You are truly missed.

Twelve long years. Lots of things have changed since then, but I'm sure your memory has lived strong in Chesterfield County...I know it lives on here in Florida. Keep your wathful eye over us all - these are crazy times!

Craig today is your birthday-I think of you often. Just lost an Oregon Police Chief watching the procession & it brings back all of the memories of yours and my trip to Hamlin NY to speak at that service. I so enjoyed that time & embrace those wonderful memories-miss you still.

Craig -

Eleven years has flown by! I can still remember my drive north to VA for your service like it was yesterday. I still speak with your sister online occasionally, and just sent her a note that your memory is still alive and well here in Florida. Until we meet again - keep an eye on us, and save a spot for us...

Craig, Thinking of you and your family including your family in blue today. Your brother Carl is now VP of our C.O.P.S. Chapter. You have a wonderful family. I am so glad I have gotten to know them. It's just sad for the reason we became friends is that they became members of our Chapter because you gave your life. We do know however, that you did so heroically and trying to keep your community safe.

My dearest Craig, I sometimes cannot believe it's been almost eleven years now since you went to be with God. Sometimes it seems like it was just yesterday. I will always love you and you will always hold a very special place in my heart. I miss you and love you.

Craig:

It is with great pride that I remember our partnering the CI's with you and the guys in your unit. It is without a doubt one of the proudest things in my life to say that I helped the "good guys" to keep our county a little bit safer from crime and drugs.

When I walk past my copy of the Chesterfield County Resolution nominating you as "A Friend of Chesterfield", I remember that you are the best friend of everyone's kids that were kept away from drugs because of your service. Your service, commitment, and sacrifice is remembered.

Happy Hunting my friend, and I will see you at the next sunrise.

Hey man,
It has been a while since I have posted.
Still can't believe what happened.
I have kids now, getting old.
Can you believe they want to close GITMO? We had many good times there...
God Bless.

Craig -

It's hard to believe it has already been ten years since you left us. It's hard to call it an "anniversary", as most people use that word more often as denoting a happy occasion, but I wanted you (and those who still love you) to know you are not forgotten. I speak with your sister Karen online from time to time, and I can tell how much she misses you. My career was in its infancy that short decade ago, but I have always endeavored to keep your memory alive through my work and my memorials to you.

Rest in peace, brother...
