I knew you as Corporal Camp. I served with you at 3rd MEF, and you were the first friendly face I met at Subic Bay. Thanks for the jokes and the advice. You will always be remembered as a warrior and a leader.

I had not seen James since high school, and didn't even know he was an officer. I found out he was that day he was killed. We were not the closest of friends. He was the popular athlete, I was the shy one. However, he would always take time to say hello and make you laugh. There were many times since high school that I would think of things he had done and I would just start to laugh. We were so different, but ultimately, the same. I'm an officer, too.
