Millie siempre estare orgulloso de ti. Fuiste una persona muy especial y muy importante en mi vida. Gracias por todas esas memorias de nuestra amistad. She went to the Academia de la Policia in Gurabo, Puerto Rico with me. She was part of class 1-98C.

Agent Agosto was responding to shots fired while off-duty. She did not have a radio or any back-up. Upon arrival to the scene she made contact with the victim of the shooting, which I do believe was dead. Tac Officer Agosto failed to clear the scene and was subsequently shot several times with and AK-47. The perp put the last round in her head, just to make sure. She was a young woman who had a level head and cared about other people and their families.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 11th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
