Hey . I don't know what to say . Went by your grave a couple of weeks ago . My heart is so heavy tonight . I haven't cried in a long time . I am now . Just realized its June . The meeting topic tonight was grief . I miss you and mom and dad a lot . I'm not doing very good right now . It feels good to miss you . It makes me realize how much I really loved you . I don't know what prompted me to Google your name tonight ... I'm so glad I did . I love you . I miss you .

Time has passed but my memory of you and the time we spent together has not faded. One of my sons recently graduated the same police academy you and I graduated from and your memory lives strong there as well. How you lived made a difference and ultimately made the difference for how I, and my family live.

God it is so good to FINALLY say thank you for saving my family that horrible night, your family and you are always in my heart. I have dreamed of this moment, most of all dreamed of the chance to meet you up there with Our Father. You are precious and sweet to Jesus and your heroism will never be forgotten. I have a 5 year old son named Julius, you know thay Julius was a centurion in the Bible that helped Paul in Acts 27. I just put a photo up on facebook of my Mother, a picture that I took that summer. Thanks for sacrificing your Family and life so that I could have a future, God doesnt make any mistakes. I'm thankful to God our Guardian Angel. Amen

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 14th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both their pain and pride are forever.

Tobin, I think of you and your family all the time. I still wear you badge around my neck. I know that we argued about certain things. We agreed to disagree on those things. I do not regret my decision to leave the department. I know it was the right thing for me. I was on the verge of doing something that I would have regretted later. I miss you everyday. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and your family. You left a legacy that will never be forgotten. You touched a lot of people and made a lasting impression. I miss and love you. You bring a tear to my eye every time I think of you.
