ii miss you daddy!
its been twelve years since you've been away
but it feels like you never left us
no matter where i go
i always feel your presence
it's like your watching over us
we didn't have enough time to spend together
i just wish you were here for my birthday & graduation
and all the other events
but somehow you may not be here physically
but i know your here spiritually
ii love you with all my heart
and i will always keep you close to my heart
you are my hero, my inspiration, my father, and my best friend
ii love you, until we meet again

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 12th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
I pray for the solace of all those who love and miss you. Rest In Peace.

American Samoa is not some place we hear about that often but it has a reputation as being beautiful. No doubt it's beautiful thanks in part to the cops who work so hard to keep things in line.
Officer Fuimaono, today marks the 10th anniversary of your tragic death while saving the life of another. How ironic that the poor troubled kid wanted to die and instead, he caused your death. I pray that the teen did not use that tragedy as an excuse and complete the deed. Instead, I pray he decided that after you laid down your life to save his, he would go on and make something of himself so that your sacrifice had not been in vain. You are the true definition of hero and I admire you.
I'm sure your family misses you terribly, but it's a safe bet, that someone who would do what you did for a stranger, has never truly left your family and are there for them constantly.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

I would just like to take one moment to say thank you. I know I did not know you but once I die I hope to meet you up there in heaven protecting the angels from harm. I ask myself everyday why God has to take the good ones from us. Maybe one day I will finally figure it out. To the family I must say that all my blessings will be with you. Your loved one is the reason why our world is a more protective place to be. God bless and God speed.

My friend, my brother in blue. Though we have never meet in person, but as I read your story of heroism, it brings a tear to my eye. Knowing that you acted in such self-disregard for your own life yet to save another means only one thing. That you are heaven sent. Rest in peace my hero.

You paid the ultimate price for saving the life of a child. You are the greatest example of a true hero I could imagine. All people, and all law enforcement officers, should aspire to be as brave and self-less as you were. God Bless you, sir.

I stop by this website often after the death of two dear friends with the NCSHP (Troopers Calvin Taylor E.O.W. October 3, 2001 and Anthony Cogdill E.O.W. May 30, 2003).
You gave your life for the life of a child. You are a true hero.
We all grieve over the lives lost in the line of duty. I hope you can find some comfort knowing that there are countless prayers that go out for your family.
These are senseless tragedies that never seem to stop. God Bless the men and women who continue to serve their communities in our great Nation.
...Gone, but never Forgotten....
