This will be the second Christmas without you Bobby. Something is missing now in every holiday, in everything I do, in everything I feel, in everything I am. Your missing, and nothing will ever be the same. When you left, part of me went with you. I love you so much and can't even begin to tell you how much I miss you.

Bobby,I still remember your smiling face everytime you stopped by the house with my brother Ralph. I visit your resting place whenever I get a chance, which is often since I only work across the street. You were a great person Bobby, may you rest in peace! Christine

Bob was an outstanding street copper. You could always count on him to back you up on a call. No matter if the call was menial or hot, "Clay" was there. He honestly was always the first one on scene, and the last one to leave. The City and its citizens were safe on his watch. He personified the word- policeman. And his loyalty was unending. I am truly proud to have served with him. And am grateful to have known him as a person. In fact, the call that led to his death, was dispatched minutes after his shift. He went anyway.

I remember being a student at a Buffalo area college as I
was watching the funeral for this officer on television. Also
recalling how moving it was to see the outpouring of respect
for this hero's service to God, country, and BPD/community.
It is moments such as this that make multi-million dollar shoe
contracts or any other pecuniary contract look like squat.

Officer RJ McLellan was my brother and my best friend...If I ever learned anything from him it was to live each day to the fullest like there is no tomorrow, don't take mistakes so seriously, be courageous and the only person who can make you happy is you. Rob was the most proactive Police Officer I have ever known...RE: his last tour of duty. That is what I want to be. He was and is special in every way, not just an officer. There will always be a special place in my heart and life !!!!!!!!!!!!
