Reflections for Detective Sean Gerald Carrington
Thank you for touching my life in an ever lasting way. Your smile, your laugh, and the embrace of your love will live in my soul until we meet again. Not a day goes by in which I wish we had made the most of our time together. I will miss you for the rest of my life.

MY DEAR BROTHER IN CHRIST AND TO YOUR FAMILY.........MY BROTHER IN LAW WHO IS NOW RETIRED FROM NYPD, NARCOTICS KNEW YOU , AND I BELIEVE I MAY HAVE MET YOU ONCE . I STOOD IN THE RAIN, THAT COLD RAINY JAN IN 1998. SAW ALL THE BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN RANK. FELT THE PAIN AND SUFFERING OF YOUR LOVED ONES AS THE ENERED THE CHURCH. AN UNCANNY THING HAPPENED TO ME IN 2003. I WAS TALKING TO SOME FRIENDS IN NYPD AND YOUR NAME CAME UP. THE FUNNY THING IS A COUPLE DAYS LATER YOUR NAME CAME UP AGAIN WILTH ANOTHER GROUP OF GUYS. AND THEN ONE DAY SOON AFTER THAT I WAS OUT WITH MY FAMILY SHOPING IN A GOOD WILL CENTER. AS I WAS GOING THRU THE RACKS OF USED AND NEW CLOTHING I SAW A FAMILURE DECTECTIVE SHIED ON A GREEN POLAR SHIRT. I PULLED IT OFF THE RACK AND SAW IT WAS MY SIZE....AND THEN I LOOKED ON THE SHIRT AND READ THE WORDS UNDER THE SHIELD..............IT SAID IN MEMORY OF DECTECTIVE SEAN CARRINGTON. NO MATTER HOW OLD THAT SHIRT IS.........IT WILL NEVER GO BACK ON A RACK IN THE GOOD WILL STORE...IT IS ETERNALLY PART OF MY HOME............AND I BELIEVE AS A CHRISTIAN BROTHER I WILL SEE YOU IN HEAVEN.....MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY..........DENNIS FERNANDEZ

ONE MOMENT
In the whisper of the wind,
I felt God embrace me.
As the voice of a loved one,
I heard God speak to me
Looking in a mirror
I saw God smile at me.
One moment and I knew
That God and I were one.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Though your smile is gone forever,
And your hands we cannot touch;
Still we have so many memories
Of the one we loved so much.
Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we will never part.
God has you in His keeping
And we have you in our hearts.
We know you walk beside us,
And when our lives are through,
We pray that God will take our hands
And lead us straight to you.
