A POLICE OFFICER'S PRAYER
Lord, I ask for courage.....Courage to face and conquer my fears, Courage to take me where others will not go. Lord, I ask for strength... Strength of body to protect others, Strength of spirit to lead others, Lord, I ask for dedication...Dedication to my job, to do it well. Dedication to my community, to keep it safe. Lord, I ask for you to be by my side through it all. AMEN

Just been thinking about you Tommy. We had a Officer killed in Kansas City. Its got to be hard on the family. Please keep watch over me. PO. E BEGLEY

December 5, 1997 was a sad day in Law Enforcement. St. Louis County and Cincinnati lost a total of 3 officers in the line of duty. Officer Smith, you, Dan Pope and Ron Jeter are heros who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that the citizens of St. Louis and Cincinnati could be safe. What else can I say but thank you.

Tom, I know you watched over me during my accident. I have no doubt that you help lift me up over the hood of the car. Thank you for letting me come home to my family that night. Please continue to look out for me and YOUR fellow officers. Even though I have told him, can you make sure that your boss up there knows how thankful I am to have another chance. Love ya & miss ya.
