Hello to Officer Beridon's daughter who submitted the reflection above. My name is Christina Lafferty and I started an organization called LOCO - Ladies of Corrections Officers (you can find it on Facebook if you'd like). I just wanted to let you know that I highlight a fallen officer every day and today is your daddy's turn. Him and all of the others are never forgotten and are always in our hearts. <3

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 12th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
To Yvette, I can see from your reflections that your dad
is loved and missed by so many. I hope to meet you at a COPS function one day.
Rest In Peace, Paul.

Dad, I just want to say that I miss you so much. I wish you were here to see Alexa and Brianna's achievements. You would be so proud of them. The girls always reflect on their memories of you. They remember the days at the park and our family dinners. I miss our nights out with you and Shawn drinking Cadi's and listening to Elton and Pink Floyd. You were such an awesome Dad and person, you have touched alot people in a special way that you could never be replaced or forgotten. I will always cherish my memories with you and I will forever remind the girls and Dylan, the grandson you never had the oppurtunity to meet, how much of a special man you were. I wish you were here to see your grandson. He looks so much like you. Shawn and I talk to him about you all the time. I love you Daddy. Why did you have to leave us so soon? We miss you soo. Love your daughter... Yvette.

Your page was featured when I signed on to ODMP today and I thought I would stop and leave a reflection. Continue to keep watch over all those that love you as they carry your memory in their hearts and think of you every day. You are a true hero. You have not been forgotten.
