22 years ago, today, your life was cut short by a truly evil person. It's hard to wrap our minds around it. This happens in other towns but not ours! And yet it did...and does. Blue Angels have followed you and have joined that heavenly squad. Your life and sacrifice was not in vain. You changed people's lives, including mine with your sacrifice. Until we meet again my friend.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 15th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. I thank your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.
Rest In Peace

Well, it's a new year and I wanted you to know that I still think of you all the time. You were taken from us way too soon, and you should know that a lot of good has come from this tragedy. You died doing what you loved. I have never seen anyone so into their line of work. Thanks for protecting Florence County and being my friend.

Joey, You will never be forgotten. I remember that morning. I was going off duty on 3rd shift and you were in the briefing room starting your shift. I walked by and there you were with that wonderful smile you always had for everyone. I stopped to say hello and we had a brief conversation. My last words to you were Joey please be carefull today not knowing at that time it would be the last time I would get to enjoy talking with you. RIP MY Brother you will always be remembered.
