It is because of you and officers like you that I enjoy arresting drivers under the influence.
Rest In Peace My Brother
October 5, 2003
God Bless You and may you Rest in Peace. There should be no loopholes, pleas bargains, etc. in the death of a law enforcement officer. My heart goes out to your family, friends, and co-workers.
Immigration Officer Bill Flinchum
Department of Homeland Security
Deputy Henry Brooks died doing the job he was trained to do...investigate Crime Scenes. Henry was a student in the first Evidence Technician Class that I coordinated through Jefferson State Community College, in 1995. Henry used to stay after class to discuss what was covered each night, and he and I became good friends.
I teach Crime Scene investigation at the Alabama State Trooper Academy, and each class is begun with a dedication slide to Henry.
Henry was an example of the true professional, and even though the years go by, he is still remembered.
Lieutenant James A. Coker
City of Hoover AL Police
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and fellow officers of Deputy Brooks. It truely sickens me to see that the courts lowered the charges of the murderer. May my Public Safety Brother now rest in peace. He has served his time on earth.
