Your heroism and service is honored today, the fourteenth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
I pray for solace for all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

I worked with Agent Colon-Brunet, we were assigned to the Puerto Nuevo Precint, San Juan Area. He was my menthor, I remember that during my first day or work in the precint he told me, "Hey Officer Velazquez, you look like you like this job, Do you? My answer was, "Yes, I do like to protect my fellow citizens". Since that time we work together for around around eight months, until I was transfered to another unit. I left the Puerto Rico Police Department in early 1995 to joined the US Army. Now I'm working as a CT Agent in the DC area. I learned alot from this good man. People need to understand that Police Officers are here to protect them. Any officer who dies in the line of duty will always be remembered for his sacrifice. You died a hero. May you rest in peace my brother.
