Reflections for Detective Jesse J. Barber
I am your only grand daughter and heard stories and shared pictures with my Mother, Mary and her sister Cathryn . Both loved you dearly . Thanks for your service. You are greatly missed. I wish I had known you. You are honored at the Jacksonville Police dept memorial service every year. My grandmother missed you and worked hard after your death raising her family with the help of her son. RIP.

My grandfather shared this link with me. Jesse Barber was my great-great-grandfather. He passed long before I was born, but it is nice to see some family history. He was very honorable. ❤️

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

Grandaddy, you were gone before I was born. I wish I had known you. I've long since retired from police work, and I am the last of three generations of police officers.. You are missed.
