Reflections for Police Officer Daniel T. Fraembs
Dan, I was shocked when I learned of your death, it was another eye-opened that we are all vulnerable. We always said that not even a spider could sneak up on you. I am sorry you left us so soon, but I am comforted knowing we have you as the best angel possible looking out for us.
(I worked for OCSD with Danny for several years)

Danny, you are still in our hearts and minds to this day and forever. Your memorial was recently completed and dedicted and only reminded us of how special you were. Being sworn in next to you is something I will never forget. #27...RIP.
Patrick B. O'Malley, Police Officer

Danny grew up in Forest Park, Ohio. A memorial stands opn the Municipal Grounds looking at his high school which is right next door. Forest Park Police, with his mother and sister, dedicated the memorial in 1997.

You can't light a candle
To show others the way
Without feeling the warmth
Of that bright, little ray
We Miss you Danny

At the beginning of every shift I supervise, myself and the other officers on shift dedicate the day to the memory of a fallen officer. Tonight, May 11, 2003 we dedicated the shift to the memory of P.O. Daniel Fraembs who died on this date 7 years ago.
When one law enforcement officer falls, we all stumble for a while, but we will carry on.
Officer Fraembs' sacrifice will never be forgotten.
