Your heroism and service is honored today, the 47th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace.

I submitted the information about your death to ODM. I didnt know you, moved here years later. Those that did know you say you were a good man and a good Police Officer. The fact that you were unarmed and took on an unarmed man reflects your courage. Rest in Peace Pete, almost 40 years later, people remember you and honor you.
