I never knew Frank Wing, although we would have been 1st Cousins, he died almost 5 years before I was born, but when I was told his story by my Mother , when i was a small child , he became a Hero to me, because he was a State Trooper--I still maintain that image of him after all these years. Semper Fi , Frank, you are not forgotten.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 85th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Though your time was short, you had made the choice to serve. A choice that many do not have the courage to do. Once an officer....always a brother. God Bless you Trooper Wing.
