Walter Williams was my neighbor, our sons were high school classmates. I didn't know Walter very well but I knew his son. I think of his children, growing up without their father. He gave his life and I won't forget him.

I remember being home the night Officer Williams was killed in the line of duty. After looking at the local news account of the incident I sat motionless and wondering why these things happen. Today, fourteen years later, we still remember you Officer Walter williams. RIP
