I remember the day you were killed. My father, Dennis Harrington, was a detective in your unit at the Queens DA Squad. It was a horrible week for him. My sister, who is now a Suffolk County police officer, still carries your badge holder. You gave it to my dad before you died. I think about you and Richie often. Although I never met you, you are both in my heart.
