Reflections for Assistant Chief of Police Oscar Wilkes
Your heroism and service is honored today, the 60th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect, not even 60 years.
Rest In Peace

I wish to extend my condolences to any and all law enforcement and or family member who has lost someone in the line of their duty. I have been on the wrong side of the law and I know they were only doing their job. Never worth taking a life. I do value all law enforcement and wish them luck and safety in their duties.
