I miss and think of my brother Danny every day. Wish we had more years together. My son, Dan, resembles him, which makes me happy. Hope to see him again in the next life.
My love to you, dear brother.

I still remember that awful day almost 51 years ago - working in my kitchen with the radio on listening as the news reported the death of a highway patrol officer. I had a terrible vision of it being Danny but tossed it off saying it could not be him. Then my brother Buddy called and asked me if I had the radio on. I said oh no, is it Danny and he confirmed it was. I still miss him to this day - our family had recently reconnected to him again. What a loss. We miss you cousin Danny White.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 47th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace
