Reflections for Trooper Clyde Arthur Wehunt

The life of a Trooper has always been difficult and dangerous. The job demands great sacrifices that each one of us must make--It is who we are. Trooper Wehunt gave his life in the protection of those whom he served. Trooper Wehunt is our brother and will always be honored and remembered by his State Patrol family--in the patrol he will live forever. Trooper Wehunt is always vigilant and watching over those who he has sworn to protect. He is a GEORGIA STATE TROOPER.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 61est anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered

Clyde is my great-grandfather and even though I did not meet him while he was alive, he has impacted my life along with everyone in my family. He is missed always. Along with my grandfather, Clyde's son Robert, they both were the defining factor that lead me into a career in law enforcement.
