Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Patrolman Leroy Warren, Jr.

Leroy Warren Jr. was (is) my Uncle! His death occurred 23 days after I was born! He brought me and my mother Nancy (Warren) Mitchell home from the hospital and held me one time! He was appropriately honored with the Medal of Valor! His legacy lives as my father, Kenneth Mitchell served as a Clark County Sheriff, my brother Kenneth A. Mitchell, served as an Ohio State Patrol Trooper, 2 of my brother's sons serve as active LEO's, one for Phoenix Az. PD and the other as a Nuclear Power Plant officer. After my US Navy retirement, I to join the ranks of Law Enforcement, currently serving as the Chief of Police for Regent University Police Department in Virginia Beach, Va. Uncle Leroy is my hero and will always be held dear to our hearts even though we never were privilege to hear his voice! Our family salutes Leroy Warren Jr and his wife Allen Warren... Rest in Peace!
