Mrs. Flanders, I'm sorry to hear about your sister's passing but like you am happy that she is once again with her love, who is a hero to us all. To you, your family and especially Officer Ward, please know that his service and memory will live on and his sacrifice will never be forgotten. Rest in peace always.

I'm Gid's wife, Jackie's, twin sister. She went home to be with the Lord March 30, 2019, so they're together again at last. My husband and I loved Gid. He was a very good guy. Shortly before he died he went to talk with the pastor to make sure he was right with the Lord.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 55th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I was 3 years old when you lefted. My mother, being the good christian women she is never spoke a bad word of the person that hit him and the memories are always positive due to the officers love and support after his passing . He has 5 grandchildren. Mother is 78 years old now and I'm his youngest daughter and Dyan is his oldest. His grandson ARTHUR (22) was killed in an accident on July 2th 2007.He finally got to met his grandfather. We love you & miss you.
