Reflections for Patrolman Francis Walsh
I said a little prayer today for Patrolman Walsh and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

He was a kid from Washington Hieghts.I was at Francis's funeral on my 10 birthday in 1961.My brother and I both grew up to become Police officers, my brother John served 10 years N.Y.P.D. shield # 2511. I am on my way to my 23 years with S.F.P.D. I will always remember the front page picture of Francis while he laid dying ,that picture and his story have forever stayed with me. Francis was better known as "Buster", to his friends and family. His life and service to his city and country will live on in our memory. "With love from the Danker Family".
