Reflections for Patrol Officer Larry W. Walker

Larry was a wonderful neighbor and loving father. Some time after his daughter, Christine, became friends with my daughter, my husband suddenly said, "I thingk Christine's dad is the officer who responded to the problem in our neighborhood when she (our daughter) was a baby." We looked at the card left and, yes, he was. And that is how I know that he was also a great officer. He came back repeated until he had contacted everyone and did his best to be sure the problem wouldn't be repeated.
He is missed.
Rest in peace, Larry

As a student at Baker Junior High, I remember Officer Walker when he worked in the school as a Liaison Officer. In that position, he was a noble officer, a wonderful mentor, and a great friend to anyone who needed one.

Larry,
Working with you in the early 1970's was always a priviledge and I miss your wit and guidance. May God be with you now

I was too young to know you like I grew to know your mother and father as they became part of my family. You have always been my inspiration for the classes I teach to fellow officers. I visit you each time I return to the academy. All I can say to you is this. Sir, for every time what I teach can save a life I credit that success to your memory. This is my tribute to you. Thank you for your sacrifice. You are not forgotten. Rest in peace.

I will always be your devoted daughter, I love you with all my heart and I miss you more than words can say. I wish we had been granted more time together, but the lord had other plans. You have a grandson, whom you would have loved. I love you dad.
Love always,
Christine Rose
