Reflections for Patrolman Henry Walburger

Patrolman Walburger,
On today, the 60th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of New York City. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

As a Retired NYPD, I'm outraged to see these cop killers get a Life Sentence & then get PAROLED after serving A FEW YEARS in prison. A Police Officer who loses his life in the Line of Duty to these dirt bags ,is also serving a life sentence in a grave . I believe that if every member of a Parole Board would go thru losing a loved one at the hands of these killers , would they feel the same way??? Probably not. Rest in Peace ,Brother.

May our Lord Jesus rest over the soul of Henry Walburger. I truly believe Officer Henry Walburger has entered the gates of Heaven by the way in which he died. He died as a direct result of serving and protecting others, so I truly believe he's now in Heaven RIP.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 49th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for the solace of all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their devotion to you through their reflections. I am sure you are proud that your family has continued your legacy of protecting and serving.

Thank you for putting your life on the line for those who are unappreciative of what you did on a daily basis. May God watch over your sons as they are now police officers, as I know you are watching over them on a daily basis. Bless you and your family for your sacrifice.
