Just to tell you that you were my inspiration to become a police officer. And after 18 years on the force still remember you as the older kid that use to play with us. The day you join the force was a proud day for your family and for me. The day a first saw you with your uniform on i knew them i wanted to be a police officer.
I always remembered you and i pass down that memories to my daughters. You always be my inspiration and my friend.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the twentieth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace
