Reflections for Officer J. D. Tippit
My son graduated from Army boot camp on 11/22/13. There was a lot of remembering on this 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination. I never knew a Dallas Police Officer was killed that day. Then I learned how you were the hero that day. Thank you for your service in the Army, thank you for your service with DPD, and I thank your family for standing by vigilantly while you served. Godspeed Brother.
