Your heroism and service is honored today, the 44th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

Mom of fallen California Officer Larry Lasater, Pittsburg PD, eow 4/24/05

Captain Swiskowski - Sounds like you were "leading from the front", Sir. Thanks for your example of courage and commitment. Three weeks ago, on a very rainy Friday morning, I stood in the State Assembly chambers when your name was one of almost 250 read off during a motion regarding next month's Police Memorial Week. You are not forgotten.
Thank you for you service to the people of Walsenberg and the state of Colorado. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

Officer Swiskoski, your service and dedication to the city of Walsenburg was extremely remarkable. I've worked as a police officer for the city of Walsenburg from 1996-98 and seldom drive by the home you were killed at. I've had the pleasure of talking with the officer that was with you on the horrible night. Your memory is a constant reminder for all of us today.

On the anniversary of your death, I salute you for your service and honor you for your sacrifice.
