This wonderful man was my father's uncle and hero! Walter Storm is the reason my dad became a Chicago Policeman. I have known his name all my life and I shall keep his name alive. RIP Uncle Walter

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.

I have heard of your heroism throughout my childhood. My mother had instilled your name and bravery into my memory. You live on. I believe you are an ancestor, but I don't know the connection. My mother's maiden name is Prather.
Regardless, your story of duty and 'do the right thing' has been honored, revered and repeated. Thank you.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 70th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace
