Reflections for Special Agent George R. Stewart
Special Agent Stewart, it's now been 106 years since your death while helping to protect one of America's greatest assets, it's railroads. You were employed for only one year, but I'm positive you did your job to the utmost and had a great future.
Rest in Peace, Brother and God Bless you.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 95th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

It’s amazing to contemplate the fact that, even 88 years ago, terrorism against our transportation system was a concern. Special Agent Stewart, you were a part of Homeland Security even before the phrase was fashionable and today, on the anniversary of your tragic death I salute you and your efforts and mourn your loss.
Though a few generations of your family have come and gone, I know you were always there for them and probably out there still protecting the rails. You are a hero.
God Bless you and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
