To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 32nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace,
I pray for the solace of all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

Shannon,
Your selfless act of heroism lives on forever - you are a true hero. My father and mother speak of you so often, as if it were only yesterday that you were here with them.
I want to thank you for your years of service and the friendship and love you provided to my family and so many others.
May you rest in peace.

Hey Dude,
Damn! Those of us that still remember that horrible Father's Day night 30 years ago today are getting old! It is my continued prayer that Beth and Julie are living a Blessed life...it continues to be difficult to understand why you were taken but obviously God had a plan for you!
Rest in Peace Brother!

Hey Buddy,
I can't believe that it has been 29 years today! It was a very sad Father's Day evening. It is my prayer that Beth and Julie are enjoying a Blessed Life! Many of us still work in the profession which you so enjoyed...many others have gone on to retire or join you in Heaven. Just wanted to leave a note wishing you a Happy Heavenly Birthday.

Shannon,
I came upon your page and felt the need to leave a message. You are still remembered 28 years later. I will never forget that night in Porter's quarters. I wish your family well and have remembered you with honor all these years.
