†Eternal Rest grant unto Lt. Steck, Oh Lord and let perpetual Light shine upon him. May His soul and all the poor souls, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. May The Blessed and Immaculate Virgin Mary take you to her own and present you to Her Son, Jesus Christ, The Great Judge. †Requiescat in pace. Amen.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
God Bless

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 90th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace

I said a little prayer today for Lieutenant Steck and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.
