Today marks your 100th anniversary of your passing. You must know - you have not been forgotten.

I have carried you with me each day and as my career nears a close, I want to say "thank you" for keeping an eye on me and keeping me safe.

Also, your daughter grew up to be a warm, wonderful person - who was always a favorite at any family gathering. Her smile was infectious, as her laugh was contagious. She is missed as well.

Thank you for your service, but most of all - your sacrifice. You will never be forgotten.
