My Dad spent nearly 5 years with the New York Central RR Police and I know from his stories what the lot of a railroad cop can be. Your memorial page doesn't go into detail, maybe after all these years those details have been lost but no matter, you're remembered.
The low life that murdered you had long been forgotten and we can only hope justice was served in some way. Your memory, however, will live on, thanks to this wonderful website and someone at the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad Police.
Thank you for your service, Rest in Peace and God Bless, brother.
