Your heroism and service is honored today as we approach the 57th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer, 53 years after you were killed.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

Grandpa, this Thanksgiving had us thinking and talking of family. Reflections of how Mom talked of you made us all sad we never had the chance to meet you and spend time with you. The stories of you will forever be cheerished. Thank you and all your bretheren for what you do, and keep watch over us all.

After all this time working on our history, I finally found you. I have heard so many wonderful stories about you and know that you were missed terribly. Almost all the family we had that I could ask questions, have joined you. God protect and keep you, Uncle George. Please give Auntie Cele a kiss from me.
Love,
Sabrina

"The credit belongs to those people who are actually in the arena...who know the great enthusiasms, the great devotions to a worthy cause; who at best, know the triumph of high achievement; and who at worst, fail while daring greatly, so that their place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat".....Theodore Roosevelt
