Reflections for Police Officer Billy Paul Speed

I remember this day, I was eight years old and my father, a fire fighter with Central in Austin, rushed down town to the station to do his duty. You continue to be the inspiration that lead me to serve in law enforcement. Your duty, service, and ultimate sacrifice to protect others, inspire me to do my best in all things. May God continue to watch over your loved ones, and I pray they are comforted in knowing your bravery on that tragic day will never be forgotten. Until final roll call...
