Officer Speaker, how tragic that your life was taken those many years ago, but I feel some sort of closure with the execution of your murderer. Many say that capital punishment is not the answer, but, he killed three others before killing you. Had he ever gotten out of jail, how many more might he have taken?
You did a tough job and you are a hero, not for having died, but for having lived.
God Bless and may your eternal rest be always peaceful, Brother.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 71rst anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Officer Speaker, thank you for your service. It is sad that your own Department seems to have forgotten the ultimate sacrifice you made. Rest in peace.
