Your heroism and service is honored today, the 69th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

To the Family of Officer Sohn:
I wanted to offer my sympathies on your tragic in the line of duty passing. Almost 67 years have passed since you were taken from your family, community and fellow officers. You were a true hero and your bravery and courage will never be forgotten. By the way officer Sohn your first name means "good heart" and that was reprented by your professional mannerisms. My dad was one of NYPDs finest for almost 40 years in the 102 precinct. Rest in peace officer Sohn and Olav Hasshalom.
