Tony was also my great-uncle and the family has always been proud of his service to Canton. I saw his name on the national police memorial in Washington, DC a few years ago and it was a moving moment. It is good to see that his story is consoling others whose familes have gone through similar experiences.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 92nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
